What is Waterboarding
Kaj Larsen, A former U.S. Navy Seal and a journalist for current.com tries to answer the question “What is Waterboarding” by submitting himself to the practice.
It is simply an instructional video and Mr. Larsen does not put forth his opinion on whether waterboarding is or is not a form of torture. I won’t give my opinion on the subject in this post either, although earlier or later posts may make my opinion clear. This post is here to allow the reader to make up his or her own mind.
I will say that I believe the waterboarding treatment that Mr. Larsen received was not completely realistic compared with real life interrogation techniques. It does however show an example of what waterboarding is like.
