The week behind.
I have kept fairly busy this week on the computer. Now that I have my own domain I am really enjoying playing around with it. I gave myself an email address on it. ben@ben-armbruster.org which I suppose I will end up making my main address since I will more than likely always keep my domain name but won’t keep my ISP. I played around with making email lists. I don’t know that I’ll ever need this function unless someone in my family or one of my NFL prognostiction groups decides they want to have one. I don’t really see a need for it at this time though.
I have obviously started this blog as you can see. I have also started another blog that
I will use for my mandriva linux musings. I haven’t done anything with it as of this writing, but it can be found here.
I have started what I think is a rather ugly homepage as well. I’m not terribly good at website developement. I’ll try to clean it up and make it prettier this weekend or sometime next week.
Finally, I have made a forum area for family (Armbrusters and Strassers) to post anything they might care to post. It also has an area for Mandriva Linux posts which I plan to remove and place on an entirely separate board.
On the home front, I have been celebrating Patty’s (my wife) return from her visit to Wisconsin where she has family. She returned with various cheeses and micro-brews.
My good friend Larry came over to watch the K.U. game with us. K.U. barely defeated Southern Illinois to advance to the Elite Eight in the N.C.A.A. Tournament. We tossed back probably a few more brews than we should on a work night but had a great time taste testing them. K.U. plays U.C.L.A. to advance to the final 4 on Saturday,
