Happy Birthday to Me
Yeppers, I’m the big four eight.
I share a birthday with Madonna. She’s a year older than I am. My birthday, for the last 30 years, has also been Elvis Presley’s death date. For some reason or other, fans of Elvis celebrate his death date more than his birth date.
I also share a birthday with Frank Gifford. Historical events include such things as a presidential veto by John Tyler. Apparently, John Tyler was a president at one time.
Planning on having a baby? I suggest you induce labor on August Sixteenth. Should the kid become famous, he or she would pretty much have the day all to itself.
I would post a video of my friends and family singing “Happy Birthday to You” but sadly, the song is owned by Warner Music Group. Warner claims that unauthorized public performances of the song are illegal unless royalties are paid to them.
Here is a link to an apparently legal version which approximates the evening.

Enjoy.
